Welcoming Justin Barker: Our New Technical Director at Elsworth Projects

We are delighted to announce that Justin Barker will be joining Elsworth Projects as our new Technical Director, starting in January, a significant milestone in the continued growth and development of our business.

With over 35 years of industry experience, Justin brings an exceptional depth of technical knowledge spanning open and closed panel timber frame, SIPS, volumetric construction, CLT, roof trusses, open-web joists, and I-joists. His background encompasses some of the most innovative and progressive construction systems used in the UK today, making him a valuable addition to our expanding team.

A wealth of expertise in Modern Methods of Construction

Throughout his career, Justin has built extensive knowledge in Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and offsite manufacturing. His understanding covers a wide range of critical disciplines, including:

• Product certification

• Fire testing and safety performance

• UK compliance and regulatory standards

• Architectural and engineering practice

• Thermal performance

• SAP/EPC requirements

This breadth of expertise will be instrumental in strengthening our technical capability as we continue to deliver high-quality, high-performing homes using low-energy construction systems.
